Girls Night at the Ballpark!

Friday night, we went to Arvest Ballpark to watch the Naturals play. It was only Lily's second Naturals game and our first time to see the Friday night fireworks. It was a beautiful night and even a little "chilly." While we were there we saw several of Lily's best friends.

After a quick change to warmer clothes, we met up with friends. Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture with Savvy but here are Emily and Caroline.

Elmo Live!

Last night, Lily and I went to Ft. Smith with our friends Emily and Shelly to see Elmo Live! This was Lily's first live show since she freaked out at Disney World. I was a little nervous to see what her reaction would be but it was great. She was enthralled, enraptured even. She danced and waved and really enjoyed it.
On our way!
Better eat your dinner before Elmo.

Posing with Elmo, this is as close as Lily would get I'm sure

Waiting for the show to start.

Waving to Elmo and the gang.

Crazy dancing girls.

Enthralled!

Blowing kisses goodbye.

Lorelai's Room and baby update

We got Lorelai's nursery put together last week and I also went to the doctor. Everything still looks good. I'm measuring good and her heartbeat is still strong in the 150's. My doctor even thinks she has turned, which is one less strike against me. She scheduled me for another ultrasound on September 8th. I also now start going every 2 weeks. Check out the pictures below to see Lorelai's room. Thanks to Nana for all her hard work!
You can also see evidence that Lily likes Lorelai's room. She has been in there taking everything out and playing in there.

Lots of Firsts

It's been a while since I last blogged and Lily has had several Firsts since then. I decided to do a whole update on those.

Lily's First Inflatable Water Slide
She didn't like it and wouldn't do it again after this.

Lily's First Day in Her New Sunday School Class
She had a great day, as usual.

Lily's First Day of School (this year)
She had a good day except for 1 accident and has been accident free since then.

Kid's Fest at Silver Dollar City

We spent this past Saturday at Silver Dollar City. The weather was cool and damp but we had a great time. Lily rode all her favorite rides with Daddy while I got to sit and watch.
For the first time, Lily is tall enough and ready to ride by herself . She rode the bouncing froggies by herself like a big girl. It's exciting and sad at the same time.

Lily and Daddy sharing a frozen lemonade.
Lily was thrilled to read the map, like Dora. Here's Lily and Daddy after the VeggieTale show. You can see Larry and Bob in the background. This is about as close as she'll get to things like that.

Swim Lessons!

Lily had her first swim lessons at Swim Ranch this week. Luckily on Thursday after my doctor's appointment, I was able to make it back to take some pictures of her in the pool with her Daddy!
Lily with the famous Mrs. Virginia
I can never catch her smiling but she was having a great time!
Floating on her back. When she was a baby she hated it, now she loves it!
Lily going down the slide!
Playtime at the end of class!
Lily is doing really well. She thinks she's big enough to be able to do everything on her though. It makes me think she'll do great next year when she is old enough to go without one of us in the water.

26 week update on Lorelai.

I had another doctor's appointment this morning. My ultrasound showed that nothing has changed and I'll be having another followup in about 6 more weeks. Lorelai's heartbeat is still strong and was in the 140's and 150's today. I did see that, as of this morning, she is breech but there's still plenty of time for that to change.
