Lorelai's Baby Dedication.

On November 29, Lorelai was dedicated at our church. Here are some shots of the girls in their pink dresses. Everyone did very well. Even though Lily really wanted to play on the stairs, she was a model big sister.

Lily's 4th Birthday Parties.

Just before Thanksgiving we celebrated Lily's 4th birthday with her friends at Fast Lane Entertainment in Lowell. She had a bowling party. It was really fun and they really take care of everything. I highly recommend that place to everyone.

The kids did pretty well bowling. After a few frames, they all decided to use the ramps. They are the greatest invention ever and I wish they had had them when I was young.

Then we went to the party room where we had pizza and cake and opened presents. Then the kids got to play the arcade games for a few minutes. Lance is doing his best to turn her into a basketball player!

We also had a family birthday party on Thanksgiving day, Lily actual birthday this year. All the grandparents were there to watch her blow out candles and open gifts.

Halloween and Fall Festival

Our first big outing as a family of four was our church's Community Fall Festival. Lily dressed up in her Tinkerbell costume and Lorelai was bundled up in her pumpkin outfit. We had a good time and Lorelai slept the whole time.

We are so blessed to have a great church that ministers to the community and hosts great events like this one. It is free to the public and has games, inflatables, and train ride and this year we added Partytime Ponies. And Lily got to ride a pony for the first time.

On Halloween night, Lily and Lance trick or treated the whole neighborhood. She had so much loot, she couldn't carry her treat bag. Lorelai and I walked with them for a couple of blocks before returning home to hand out candy to the kids. Our neighborhood goes all out for Halloween by the way. These are our neighbors across the street.

These are some pictures of Lorelai in her cute "1st Halloween" stuff that our friends the Boogaarts got for her.

Family Portraits

Today we went for new family portraits. Both girls did really well, the only person I'm not satisfied with is myself, but I guess thats no surprise. Here are a few of our pictures. I'll update with Halloween pictures and other stuff soon.

Lorelai Claire has Arrived!

Friday, October 9, 2009 at 7:53am, Lorelai Claire Johnson came screaming into the world! She was 6lbs 14oz and is 18.5 inches long. She has dark hair and blue eyes, though she doesn't show them to us very often. Several people have said she looks alot like Lily and I agree but she looks different also. Lily is doing pretty well with her and likes to give kisses.
We got to go home from the hospital on Sunday, so last night was our first night at home. And today is Lance's first day at his new job. Lots of changes in a a very short time! Keep us in your prayers as we try to adjust.

St. Judes Trike-a-Thon

Lily's class at school participated in a Trike-a-thon to raise money for St. Judes Childrens Hospital. The kids rode bikes and trikes around the gym at the church. They did remarkable well considering how many kids were on the "track" at the same time. Lily rode well but as usual got distracted watching the other kids sometimes. She smiled at and waved at Mommy and Nana every time she went around. We don't have to turn in pledges until next week if anyone is interested in sponsoring Lily and making a donation. Thanks to all our friends who already have pledged for Lily!

New Gymnastics Class!

A few weeks ago, Lily started her new gymnastics class. She is doing great and is still really excited about it. In her new class, they are a lot more independently and I think thats one reason she does so well. Plus, she loves getting to do the trampoline every week!

Lily still loves bars!
