Every year, we get together with friends and meet at the Fayetteville Square to see the lighting of the Lights of the Ozarks and the Christmas Parade. This year it was the same day as Lily's birthday party, which made for a busy day. It was colder than we expected but we were prepared and had a good time.
So, my baby girl turned 5! (And she doesn't like me to call her my baby.) We are so lucky to live in an area that allows us to plan great, fun birthday parties even for cold weather birthdays. This year, Lily decided she wanted to have a swim party at the Jones Center in Springdale. So on a beautiful Saturday morning, we had a super fun swim party! The kids got to swim for a while and then we got dressed and went upstairs to have a pizza party and cake.

Lorelai was not sure at first, but she warmed up after a while.
Fall Festival actually fell on Halloween this year, so we had a busy day. The girls loved it and Lorelai did surprisingly well in her costume. We spent 2 hours at Fall Festival and then headed home for trick-or-treating. Lorelai and I only went for a few houses before we headed home to hand out candy and get her ready for bed. Lily and Lance trick-or-treated the whole neighborhood and came home tired and with a FULL treat bag.

Time for Trick-or-treating. Our neighbors across the street always do it up big.
We are excited to start our new blog! I really hope to be able to keep you all better updated with whats going on with our family. Lily and Lorelai are growing more everyday. I think we'll probably have lots of news to share.
