Christmas at Silver Dollar City

In December, we took our annual trip to see the lights and tree at Silver Dollar City. This year Nana and Papa joined us. We all bundled up and set out to play until it got too cold for us. Lorelai slept most of the time, probably a good thing because she stayed plenty warm.

We arrived early enough that Lily got to ride the kids rides without waiting at all. That makes it really nice and is one reason we always go on a weekday at Christmas time. We also went to see the show at the saloon.
Crazy static hair outside the saloon show.

After riding the train, we met up at the tree for the lighting and the parade.

Polar Express

In December, Lily got to ride the train with her class from school. The wore their PJ's and had Hot Chocolate just like on the Polar Express. Lorelai went along for the ride and wore her new Christmas PJ's too. We had a good time even though Lily wanted to sit with her teacher instead of with me.
I think the train ride is something that I'd like to make a yearly tradition as a family. I can't wait til next year when Lorelai will know a little more what is going on.

New Posts.

I'm way behind in updating our blog. I've finally added Halloween, Birthday, and Baby Dedication pictures and I promise I will add more updates soon!

Lorelai's Baby Dedication.

On November 29, Lorelai was dedicated at our church. Here are some shots of the girls in their pink dresses. Everyone did very well. Even though Lily really wanted to play on the stairs, she was a model big sister.

Lily's 4th Birthday Parties.

Just before Thanksgiving we celebrated Lily's 4th birthday with her friends at Fast Lane Entertainment in Lowell. She had a bowling party. It was really fun and they really take care of everything. I highly recommend that place to everyone.

The kids did pretty well bowling. After a few frames, they all decided to use the ramps. They are the greatest invention ever and I wish they had had them when I was young.

Then we went to the party room where we had pizza and cake and opened presents. Then the kids got to play the arcade games for a few minutes. Lance is doing his best to turn her into a basketball player!

We also had a family birthday party on Thanksgiving day, Lily actual birthday this year. All the grandparents were there to watch her blow out candles and open gifts.
