Family Portraits

Today we went for new family portraits. Both girls did really well, the only person I'm not satisfied with is myself, but I guess thats no surprise. Here are a few of our pictures. I'll update with Halloween pictures and other stuff soon.

Lorelai Claire has Arrived!

Friday, October 9, 2009 at 7:53am, Lorelai Claire Johnson came screaming into the world! She was 6lbs 14oz and is 18.5 inches long. She has dark hair and blue eyes, though she doesn't show them to us very often. Several people have said she looks alot like Lily and I agree but she looks different also. Lily is doing pretty well with her and likes to give kisses.
We got to go home from the hospital on Sunday, so last night was our first night at home. And today is Lance's first day at his new job. Lots of changes in a a very short time! Keep us in your prayers as we try to adjust.

St. Judes Trike-a-Thon

Lily's class at school participated in a Trike-a-thon to raise money for St. Judes Childrens Hospital. The kids rode bikes and trikes around the gym at the church. They did remarkable well considering how many kids were on the "track" at the same time. Lily rode well but as usual got distracted watching the other kids sometimes. She smiled at and waved at Mommy and Nana every time she went around. We don't have to turn in pledges until next week if anyone is interested in sponsoring Lily and making a donation. Thanks to all our friends who already have pledged for Lily!

New Gymnastics Class!

A few weeks ago, Lily started her new gymnastics class. She is doing great and is still really excited about it. In her new class, they are a lot more independently and I think thats one reason she does so well. Plus, she loves getting to do the trampoline every week!

Lily still loves bars!

Update on Lorelai

I had an appointment at the NWA Breast Center today for an ultrasound to check on my previa. The tech seems to think that it is resolving but I'll not be convinced until the Radiologist reviews the images and tells my doctor.

On the up side, I got to see some really great images of Lorelai. I've never had an ultrasound so late and was really excited to see the difference a few weeks can make. We got a good look at her little face and she already has chubby cheeks. The tech said she looks like she's pretty filled out already. I think she may also have Lily's cute little nose. She measured a little ahead of where she should be, so she may be a little bigger than Lily. All-in-all, I think we got good news today!

Jay's Birthday at Gator Golf

On Saturday morning, we went to Jay's birthday party at Gator Golf. It was Lily's first time to miniature golf and it was pretty interesting. She didn't really like Daddy to help her (big surprise!) but she did ok on her own.

Girls Night at the Ballpark!

Friday night, we went to Arvest Ballpark to watch the Naturals play. It was only Lily's second Naturals game and our first time to see the Friday night fireworks. It was a beautiful night and even a little "chilly." While we were there we saw several of Lily's best friends.

After a quick change to warmer clothes, we met up with friends. Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture with Savvy but here are Emily and Caroline.

Elmo Live!

Last night, Lily and I went to Ft. Smith with our friends Emily and Shelly to see Elmo Live! This was Lily's first live show since she freaked out at Disney World. I was a little nervous to see what her reaction would be but it was great. She was enthralled, enraptured even. She danced and waved and really enjoyed it.
On our way!
Better eat your dinner before Elmo.

Posing with Elmo, this is as close as Lily would get I'm sure

Waiting for the show to start.

Waving to Elmo and the gang.

Crazy dancing girls.

Enthralled!

Blowing kisses goodbye.
