A Whole Foot!

On this past Saturday and Sunday, the first 2 days of Spring, we had a foot of snow. It started snowing Saturday afternoon and snowed almost all day Sunday. When it finally slowed down, we took Lily and Lorelai outside to see and play in it.

The snow was deeper than Lorelai's legs are long so she sort-of sunk into it to her bottom and then just stuck there.

High Steppin'

Lorelai wasn't as big a fan of the snow as Lily, so she chilled out in the wagon while we played outside for a little while.
I've only seen that much snow once in my life and I can honestly say, it was a lot more fun back then. But Lily loves it and had a great time, and thats really all that matters!

What a big girl!

On Saturday, March 13, Lorelai became a solid food eater! As you can tell, she wasn't quite sure about it at first, but it didn't take long for her to realize she liked it. She now has cereal at breakfast and bedtime and she has had applesauce and sweet potatoes mixed in with it. Now she opens wide and eats all of what I make for her!

Just a Swingin'

Recently, we had a few days of nice warm sunshine, so we took Lorelai out for her first time in the swing. She loved it and Lily loved to swing next to her.

Then I guess, we got really brave and decided to let Lily take Lorelai down the slide for the first time. As you can tell, i was not that brave and held on the whole time. Lorelai didn't have much reaction to the slide but again, Lily had a great time being the big sister.

First Day of Soccer!

This morning was Lily's first First Touch Soccer Practice. She had a great time and did really well. Those gymnastics classes she's been taking really prepared her for this kind of thing. She new how to stretch and warm up, she listened really well, and was not intimidated by not knowing any of the other kids in her group.

Stretching out before practice.
Lily's group and coach.
Yes, shes supposed to be doing that.

Headed for the goal.
