In early September, we spent the day visiting the Tulsa Zoo. It was a pretty nice day but still a little warm. We saw lots of the animals before it got too hot and the girls had a really good time.
Lily is braver than she used to be. Of course, that guy is not going to move too fast either.
They were having a special celebration for one of the elephants 60th birthday. Because of this, they were having special events and demonstrations. Elephants have always been Lily's favorite so she was thrilled.
I love penguins and was thrilled to see them so close.
It was a whirlwind trip but we had a really good time and will definitely go back sometime when it's cooler.
